Today, much different from tomorrow

I am so happy that March is in sight!!! It was actually rather nice today. It was just below freezing and the sun was shining. I did consider dragging a lawn chair out to the back porch for awhile, but got busy.  I planted the pepper seeds this morning. Granted, the containers ARE under grow lights, but they are in the dirt.

So what is the big news from this end?      .....well, apparently, starting noonish tomorrow, SNOWMAGEDDON will be happening.  We are forecast 30-50 cm of snow and winds up to 80 km/hr.  There is NO snow on my side porch today so it will be interesting watching it pile up!! The local news said it will be a months worth in 24 hours!  It's going to be an event all right!

M. popped into the grocery store and picked up milk so we can sit comfortably by our wood stove, drink our tea/coffee and watch the thing blow out from the warm side of the glass.  I rebooked my surgeon appointment and M. rescheduled his work stuff. I'm glad we have that privilege. Some certainly don't.

  1. Yes, it's going to apparently be quite a storm coming this way. Best to stock up and settle in.

    1. We are all tucked up. Lots of firewood and food and water. A generator and extra gas if we need it. Us country folk, survivors of the Great Ice Storm.

    1. Been awhile since we saw a storm this fierce. I rebooked my surgeon appt. Brought in a couple more loads of firewood. M. picked up extra milk on his way home from work. We're good for a week or more!
