We had a fierce wind storm Friday. It came on at 6 PM today. FIFTY hours!
We have limited power with a generator.
We were looking after my Pal. Bringing her company, food and water. Another neighbour brought her blocks of ice.
We got through it.
Tomorrow I'm off to her place to do her gardening.
The joys of country living. We were spared.

ReplyDeleteOff-grid living. Glad things are back to normal. Off-grid is sure different if you don't plan for it!
ReplyDeleteThat certainly was a lot of wind. We were smelling smoke as well, so a little nervous about that, as the bush is so dry.
