This day was a gift! The temperature climbed to 16C! I was outdoors all afternoon doing chores.
There was a LOT of bird seed husk to clean up.
There was an iceberg to pound and shove off the porch.
I collected two trail camera chips. All I saw were many squirrels, chickadees and one lonely bunny.
I baked oatmeal pecan cookies for our tea break.
The news continues to give me terrible anxiety so I'm still minimizing my exposure to news. I'm sure whittling down a stack of books instead.
Our weather is about to take another drastic turn around. We might see some heavy freezing rain, which has us rather nervous. We will prepare for worse case scenario of course.
M noticed that gasoline had dropped about 10c a liter after a huge jump on the weekend, so he topped up the little red suv. We don't have much driving planned for awhile.
We could do without the freezing rain, but it is March.
ReplyDeleteMy paternal grandmother came from Kent, so I looked up the location more carefully because I was surprised at the nautical history and hadn’t realized that there was so much coastline.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, I filled up just before the price rise. Yeah, the forecast is not good, but as of noon on Tuesday as I write this, we still have blue sky and I heard geese again this morning.
