The temperatures have gone up above freezing again! It's a bit sunny and cloudy today. I find my mood and energy level improving by the day.
I put my big red boots on and took the pup for a good vigorous hike up the road. The boots are heavier, but have much better support than my slipons. It makes a big difference in the planter faciitis. The chickadees are singing their spring songs today. The squirrels are chasing each other around the woods. Tomorrow is looking even warmer!
When we came back I hauled out the vacuum and replaced the filters that FINALLY came in. I don't know if I mentioned this previously, but our local vacuum shop can't get parts or filters for Bissel products anymore. I guess they are meant to be disposable, kind of like our printers. Well, as much as I HATE shopping Amazon, they do have my filters. It just takes awhile to get them.
The propane truck came to top us up today. I was some relieved. I worried about getting low while our lane was a slush pit. Hopefully this will be our last delivery of the season. Now that we have the wood burner hooked up again we can keep the house cozy in the shoulder season.
I have the baby sweater pattern firmly stuck in my head now, so beavering away at that this afternoon.

Do you have custom orthotics? Those "cured" my plantar fascitis (along with icing). And I mean for about 30 years at least, when it was its worst. If I take them out for any period of time, I know it!
ReplyDeleteI wear a custom Birkenstock. I need one for my left boot and sneaker but they cost over $300, which is out of my range at the moment.

ReplyDeleteMy sweetheart often brings me flowers, as does my eldest daughter. The white amaryllis is one I grew myself. This bouquet I spied in the grocery store and HAD to have it.
