THAT WAS A ROLL

I can confirm there is still almost two feet of snow in my bush. It might be melting rapidly down the hill here in the yard but it's hanging tight up the hill in the woods.

Yesterday the pup and I headed up to pull the camera chip. All was well walking up and over the top of the hill. When I was approaching the woods on the other side I suddenly started sinking abut eight inches. I did manage to pull the camera down, intending to move it to a different tree. That's when I sunk OVER my knees. I was well and truly STUCK. I decided the best  way to get out of that predicament was to sit and pull my legs out one at a time. The dog thought I was playing a game and came to jump around. I was on my back in the snow and that's when the fun really started to happen. I ROLLED DOWN THE HILL The poor dog didn't know what to make of that.

When I got back in the house my burgundy sweat suit was covered in snow.  M. asked me where I'd been,HAHAHA

It was quite an adventure for a 74 year old lady let me tell you. It was a soft landing so I was in no danger.

Daughter and I had our hair trims, did a bit of shopping and had a nice lunch in downtown Pembroke. If any of my local friends want to know the place, I'm happy to share. We go there about once a month for THE best eggs benedict we have ever had.

It has been a beautiful sunny day. I enjoyed laying in the sunbeam for a nap this afternoon. (Windows open!)

  1. Glad you were not injured, but that would have been a funny sight to see your pop thinking it was playtime.

Anything of note on the camera chip? Yes, there is still a lot of snow in the bush.

  5. The snow level should diminish a little today.
