I just saw on the news that the Princess of Wales, Kate, has cancer. The Royals sure have been plagued of late. The King himself, Fergie (sort of partner of Naughty Andrew) and now Kate. No One Is Immune from that horrible family of disease.
I think I wasn't surprised when I heard that, despite the earlier denials. There was clearly something more serious than the press (or lack thereof) would lead one to believe. Having had personal and family experiences with cancer, all I can do is wish her well and hope that her medical team -- clearly a good one -- is on top of it. Very sad indeed.
I was hoping against hope that it really was a desire for privacy that was keeping the news so bland, but was not surprised to find out the facts. Poor lady. I feel very sorry for the front line royals; they live a horrible life in many ways.
